This course is intended for individuals working in clinical flow cytometry ranging from technologists and supervisors to trainees and pathologists. It is designed to broaden the participant’s understanding of what it takes to start and maintain a high quality flow cytometry laboratory, how to optimize flow cytometric data, and how to identify problems with flow cytometric data. Topics covered will include instrument qualification, set up, and standardization; assay development and optimization; assay validation; regulatory and quality issues; laboratory management; strategies for engaging staff; analyzing data, and identifying and troubleshooting problem data. Our experienced and world renowned faculty bring experience from a variety of clinical, academic, and commercial laboratory settings.
