The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) performs test procedures in the Flow Cytometry-Immunology lab. The CLS transcribes and reports test results. The CLS operates laboratory instrumentation & equipment to accurately generate test results. The CLS initiates troubleshooting of errant laboratory instrumentation & equipment as needed. The CLS follows established quality control procedures and participates in all associated tasks in the section. The CLS must be able to work in a high-volume setting.
Bachelor of Science degree - required
Recent experience in clinical laboratory technology in Flow Cytometry or Immunology – required
Previous experience in high-volume, doing clinical laboratory testing – preferred
Experience with current flow cytometry testing or automation used in a clinical laboratory – preferred
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license - required
