12:00 PM - FLOWJO
TITLE: "FlowJo and the Clinical Workflow"
SPEAKER: Melanie O'Donahue, MT, ASCP, CCy, Clinical Application Scientist, FlowJo LLC
DESCRIPTION: FlowJo LLC has created a suite of products that enable ease, efficiency and standardization in the clinical flow cytometry laboratory, from sample collection through final report. We will step through the workflow and explore the features that facilitate an ideal clinical workflow. I will also introduce a new product that is in the design process. The FlowJo Clinical platform will provide the tools and solutions that a clinical laboratory needs in one package. This innovation is possible because FlowJo Clinical is being designed by and for clinical flow cytometrists with input from key leaders in the field. Join me for an active discussion on what you would like to see in our new clinical platform. Come learn about FlowJo in the Clinical Workflow, today and looking forward.
12:30 PM - DE NOVO SOFTWARE
TITLE: "FCS Express in the Real World"
SPEAKER: David Novo, President De Novo Software
DESCRIPTION: FCS Express is the tool of choice for the clinical laboratory performing critical high quality analysis.
With more than 100 clinical reference labs using FCS Express, we have optimized our features and workflow to support the requirements of the validated laboratory.
We will be showcasing different analysis from different customers highlighting QC and advanced features of FCS Express that dramatically reduces turnaround time and provides higher quality and reliability at the same time.
Come and see how FCS Express 6 IVD is being implemented today to improve the workflow and processes at labs just like yours.
1:00 PM - BD BIOSCIENCES
TITLE: "Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Standardization: An Update"
SPEAKERS: Dr. Michael Borowitz, MD, Johns Hopkins, Abigail Kelliher, Technical Application Specialist, BD Biosciences
1:30 PM - ZELLKRAFTWERK
TITLE: "Chipcytometry: 100-plex Cytometry in Discovery and Clinical Trial Support"
SPEAKER: Jan Detmers, VP Clinical Services, Zellkraftwerk GmbH
DESCRIPTION: The implementation of cytometry-based biomarker assays for the analysis of clinical trial samples remains a challenge due to the limited stability of clinical specimens. Chipcytometry is a high parameter image cytometry-based platform enabling sample storage for up to 24 months at full biomarker stability. Chipcytometry has a number of features that are quite similar to conventional flow cytometry with two additional features making Chipcytometry an exciting technology for the analysis of precious samples:
1. Long-term sample storage
2. New 100-plex panel for human immune cell phenotyping.
In this session you will learn how to implement sample biobanking, bioanalysis and re-interrogation to support immunology trials.
