    Christine Aguhar Scholarship

    Named after a gifted medical technologist who met an untimely death, the Christine Aguhar Scholarship Fund is a non-profit, tax deductible 501c3 fund to foster self confidence in women new to the field of flow Cytometry through continuing education, mentoring and networking with other professionals in the field of Clinical Flow Cytometry. This scholarship is to be awarded to a female clinical flow cytometry technologist who is relatively new to clinical flow cytometry in order to further education in the field. Awardees may be medical technologists, or other bench technologists who are actively involved in the daily performance of flow cytometry technology in a clinical setting.

    Scholarship: Awardees will receive waived registration to the Annual ICCS Meeting & Course, including luncheon workshops and the conference banquet dinner.

    Guidelines: This scholarship is to be awarded to a female clinical flow cytometry technologist who is new to the field in order to further education in the field. Awardees may be medical technologists, or other bench technologists who are actively involved in the daily performance of flow cytometry technology in a clinical setting.

    Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) Scholarship

    ICCS has always been supportive in helping their members with numerous educational resources as well as recognizing our technical staff and the need for targeted support. This has led to the creation of the MLS scholarship with the goal of providing practical guidance and education to technical staff through ICCS educational opportunities.

    Scholarship: Awardees will receive waived registration for the ICCS 2024 Annual Course and up to 3 nights at the headquarter hotel.

    Guidelines: Applicants should be considered “technical” staff (MLS/MLT/MT/CLS) who are working as bench techs, technical specialists, quality coordinators, supervisors, or other technical roles within a flow cytometry laboratory. One of the references should be from lab manager, supervisor, group lead or medical director supporting this educational opportunity for laboratory improvements.
